Overview

Tidepath explores marina administration through the physical layout of the harbor. Berths, reservations and arriving vessels are connected on a spatial plan, with details opening beside the selected location. A separate arrival board organizes the day by time, while a service workspace brings checklists, attachments and communication together. The portfolio scope covers four detailed interface concepts, a horizontal navigation system and marine-specific visual presentation.

Tidepath SaaS Platform hero

Marina administration interface concepts with fictional vessels, guests and reservations. Harbor diagrams illustrate workspace layouts.

Challenge

A marina team coordinates both places and people. A reservation needs a berth, an arrival needs a welcome and a service request needs a clear handoff. Lists alone can make the relationship between a vessel and its location difficult to see, while separate messages can obscure the next administrative action.

  • Berth availability needs to be understandable in the context of the pier layout.
  • Expected arrivals need to stay connected to reservations and guest details.
  • Service work benefits from a shared view of approvals, attachments and handover tasks.
  • Staff need to inspect a record while retaining the context of the harbor or work queue.

Solution

The concept uses a map-first harbor view and contextual reservation drawers rather than a conventional metric dashboard. A horizontal navigation bar connects six core areas. Arrivals use a timeline, berth allocation uses a spatial editor and service work uses a split workspace with a queue, checklist and attachments. Each layout follows the activity it supports.

  • A harbor plan makes berth locations and administrative status visible together.
  • Contextual drawers keep reservation details beside the selected berth.
  • A timed arrival board links expected vessels to their assigned locations.
  • A split service workspace keeps administrative tasks and communication in context.
  • Six top-level destinations provide navigation without a large persistent sidebar.
