Overview
Threadvale brings the texture and comparison work of a sampling atelier into a digital collection workspace. Designers begin with fabric, yarn and palette references, then explore colorways and track sample review. A detailed specification view connects visual decisions with documented composition and revision notes.

Original textile sample development interface concepts with fictional project data and illustrative content.
Challenge
Textile development depends on subtle differences that are easy to lose in a generic task list. A sample's colorway, supplier feedback and specification revision need to stay connected even as the collection evolves.
- Preserve the visual identity of each sample.
- Compare colorways with enough texture context.
- Connect review progress to the correct specification.
Solution
A tactile sample board replaces the dashboard. Collection tabs and a bottom comparison shelf keep navigation compact. The colorway lab emphasizes side-by-side inspection, the tracker uses swatch cards and the specification sheet gives material detail generous space.
- Collection board: Gather fabric textures, yarn references and palettes into a collection board.
- Colorway lab: Compare fabric colorways with palette controls and a shared comparison shelf.
- Sample tracker: Follow swatch samples through development and supplier review stages.
- Specification sheet: Inspect a textile sample beside composition, dimensions and revision notes.
