Overview
Furrowly is a product design concept for seed libraries. A seed library needs clear links between seed packets, donation records and seasonal lending activity. The scope connects four activities: seed catalog, lending desk, season planner, donation record. Each has a dedicated screen, with a specimen-card catalog with seasonal planning ribbon establishing the visual direction. The work includes interface composition, proposed feature architecture and industry-specific showcase imagery.

Four original seed libraries interface concepts. Records, technical values and depicted workflows are illustrative.
Challenge
A seed library needs clear links between seed packets, donation records and seasonal lending activity. A useful workspace must preserve the connection between the original reference, the selected record and the discussion around a change. Showing more information alone would not resolve that handoff.
- Keep variety tags and drawer references connected to the selected work.
- Make loan notes visible at the point where decisions are reviewed.
- Retain season calendar and donation history through the handoff.
Solution
The design starts with a specimen-card catalog with seasonal planning ribbon. Browse illustrated seed packet records with variety tags and drawer references. The remaining views separate exploration, coordination and review into layouts suited to their content. A ochre, seed brown and sage palette gives the product its own visual identity, while selected-record panels keep details close to the working surface.
- Browse illustrated seed packet records with variety tags and drawer references.
- Review a seed loan record beside member notes and packet selections.
- Arrange proposed community sowing sessions on a seasonal calendar.
- Inspect a donation entry with packet photographs and source notes.
